Prizes from Lost Valley and Backwoods Snowboards & Skateboards in Auburn donated prizes for the top 3 winners who were voted on by the competitors and volunteers.

Day of caring at Oak Hill Middle School
Jada Collins, an 8th grader at Oak Hill Middle School, shucks an ear of corn in a field at Jillsons Farm in Sabattus Friday morning. The corn from this field will to be dried and used as chicken feed. Jada and the rest of the school were taking part in the annual Day of Caring, where students and teachers participate in numerous public service and community projects throughout the area. In addition to helping out at area farms, other students did yardwork, cleaned up cemeteries, canvased for trash along the roads and did several other projects to "give back to the community."
