A man looks for a way to higher ground Thursday afternoon after finding himself trapped on Lewiston Falls when the water level suddenly rose.

Last year Kathleen Jordan was not able to tend to her garden, but this year she is planning to spend more time taking care of her flowers along with a food garden. Tuesday morning she was out using sticks to help prop up her hybrid daffodils in her front yard in Paris.
