The JMG students at Spruce Mountain High School were busy Thursday morning picking apples at Shackley Hill Orchards in Livermore to give to the Tri-Town Ministerial Food Bank in Livermore Falls.
Auburn Middle School Ed Tech Crystal Cote, middle, gives AMS student Spencer Barcelou, 12, a high five after his turn throwing a bocce ball at Leavitt High School Friday morning. Twelve teams from various schools and organizations came to train for upcoming competitions. Captains from the fall sports teams at Leavitt helped organize, score and coach the athletes. In May, many of the teams will compete in the Androscoggin Bocce Competiton at Poland High School and in June, the state summer games at UMO where they will try to qualify for a national competition.

She then stepped out and walked to an ambulance that took her to the hospital for evaluation.
