Law enforcement officials investigate the scene on Mill Street in Lewiston early Tuesday morning after the reported stolen vehicle was chased through Lewiston and Auburn until it crashed into the dead end where shots were fired. One suspect was caught fleeing while a short standoff ensued with the other suspect in the vehicle gave up and came out with his hands up.
After saying there was too much water in the hole he was digging, Daymon Morin, 9 of Turner, left, told his best friend, Jacob Blais, 11, of Turner, that he didn't want him to pour any more water in the hole, so, Blais found another use for it while the two were enjoying yet another glorious summer day at the public beach at Bear Pond Park in Turner Wednesday morning.
