Lewiston firefighters responded to a reported structure fire behind Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston Tuesday afternoon. A caller reported seeing heavy smoke and flames shooting from a building next to the helicopter pad. When firefighters arrived, all they found was a large amount of steam coming from a utility building that was backlit by an orange light that was mistaken as flames by the "good intent" call.
