A family has fun with a pinwheel given out during Saturday's Blueberry Festival Parade in Wilton.
Jared Goulette, center, talks about his vision of painting a giant mural on the wall opposite the one he just finished, background, in a parking lot on Main Street in Lewiston Saturday morning. The Portland based artist worked tirelessly with the Lewiston Downtown Association to get the project approved. He told 3 members Saturday mornnig how much easier a process it was to do in Portland where he has done over 20 with little oversight and the cities blessings in contrast to the hoops they had to go through to get approval in Lewiston that nearly halted the project on several occassions. Association members who never gave up and came to see the artist off and thank him one last time before he left town Saturday, between the artist putting on several clear coats of protective spray are left to right; Linda Scott, Sandy Marquis and Michael Dostie, far right. They also looked down Main Street and talked about the plans for another, bigger one, on the side of the former Pedro O'Hara's on Main Street.
