Rumford native and well known artist Clint Magoon paints a mural on the side of Auburn's Village Inn. The scene is of the first restaurant the Vallee family purchased in 1963 that was located across the street from their present restaurant of the Village Inn. Magoon has painted many murals througout the area and is also well known for his intricate glass etchings. Magoon is a friend of the family and also a regular customer of the popular local restaurant. "This is just the rough outline with the shading and detail work to come later," he said while periodically glancing at an old photo he held in his hand for reference. "I would have been done 4 days ago if it were not for the rain."
