The blustry winds helped but it was a challenge for the inexperienced fliers that had fun despite getting tangled up and crashing on numerous occassions as they learned the finer techniques of kite flying.

Buff Barnes stretches at the Water Street Boat Landing along the Androscoggin River Wednesday afternoon after jogging along the river in Brunswick. She is from Philadelphia, but has been staying in Brunswick for several months visiting family and takes every opportunity to visit the river.
