Tree Street fundraiser

Bates College senior Brittney Davis hugs Abdirahman Hussein during Thursday night's 2nd Annual Tree Street Youth Funds for the Future event at Museum L-A. Davis was joking with Hussein that when they first met, she was taller than him. Hussein, who is now a student at University of Maine Farmington credited much of his success to the help and guidance Davis and others gave him at the Lewiston center. Food from around the world, live entertainment, artwork and emotional speeches kept the audience entertained as they bid on numerous donated items in a silent auction.
