Bates Dance Festival wrapping up another successful season

After developing a passion for dance while participating in the Young Dancers Workshop and Youth Arts Program at the Festival, Baxter is following her dream of becoming a professional dancer as she will be leaving this fall to attend Point Park University in Pennsylvania where she will major in dance. She and dozens of other aspiring and professional dancers will be performing in the finale at Alumni Gym on Saturday night at 7:30. The Different Voices concerts with visiting choreographers from across the U.S. and beyond will feature eclectic, surprising and innovative dance, music and media works on Thu and Fri. at Schaffer Theatre at 7:30.
